After having spent my entire working life in the Corporate world, I decided to take an early retirement (no, that absolutely does NOT mean I am old enough to retire!). and take a sabbatical from working. I had absolutely no idea what I would do after that, however, I knew that whatever it was, it would not be back to a regular 9-5 job. (Little did I know it would mean a 24/7 one!)

Having spent lots of time up at the cottage during my sabbatical, I naturally spent a lot of time with my lovely sister in law, Cindy, whose cottage is just down the road from mine. Her love of beading has rubbed off on me and my interest has grown exponentially over a very short period of time (I think I made my first stretchy ankle bracelet 3 summers ago!).

I have quickly discovered the love of creating....from the design idea, to the execution of a design, I am amazed at how much I have grown in such a short time, and how much more room there is to continue the growing process.

I hope you will join me on my journey, as I enhance my skills, and refine my designs. The only problem now is in finding enough hours in the day to "create" as well as run the business!!!!
