Sandra Welch

We are extremely delighted to introduce you to the creative and beautiful works of this talented artist.  Sandra was first introduced to her love of glass through a studio in Montreal, prompting her to then take every possible glass course available to her.  It was through this educational exploration that she was first introduced to Glass Fusion.  Her education continued, as did the growth of her skills. 

 

Initially starting with making plates and bowls and tiles, she began making beads from all of the small pieces of glass remaining from the process.  Her discovery of dichroic glass opened up new possibilities to her and she began creating jewelry using dichroic glass in her beads and cabochons. 

 

We believe that you will be just as captivated by her artwork as we are.  In fact, we are hard-pressed to post any of her items on the site at all – we want to own them ourselves!!
