Making Glass Beads. Cindy Jenkins. Perhaps one of the first books that a beginning lampwork artist ever buys, this book will guide you through all of the 'basics'.
Passing the Flame: a Beadmaker's guide to detail & Design. Corina Tettinger. If you're looking for clear and detailed information on how to make your own glass beads, this book is it!
1000 Glass Beads: Innovation & Imagination in Contemporary Glass Beadmaking. This book is pure eye-candy! It is a compilation of photos of (you guessed it!) 1,000 different glass beads, made by some of the best glass artists. Wonderful coffee table book, although it's usually on my desk for continual inspiration!
Beaded Treasures. Robin Atkins. I LOVE this book. Easy to understand instructions (truly... even I can follow it!) make this book a delight. Lots of ideas and variations for weaving your own beaded bracelets, necklaces and even tassles.
